Thanks, Stephanie, for being REAL! I also have four kids, and I am struggling with parenting on my own with my husband activated with the Navy Reserve and training in CA to go to Iraq in April. I appreciate the show SO MUCH!

May the Lord bless your ministry as you follow His will for the show!

I wanted to say that I enjoy listening to your program most every noon on my lunch break. You have some very good speakers and the program is enlightening to so many and a great help to many as well. I also wanted to say that I think I heard you say you might be from Mason City, Iowa? Mason City is my home town. Anyway, again I appreciate what is God is doing in and through your life and this program

    Thank you

    Patrick

    Stephanie-
You are a ray of sunshine each and every day despite the fact that you face many challenges in your own life and family. I commend you. Keep your chin up! Keep addressing sexual sin. It is so prevalent in our world. Sexual addiction and homo-sexuality have affected our family and it hurts to the core. We need to keep addressing the fact that it is wrong and is sin. Keep bringing people on to address this. The Laaser’s are awesome. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am a mail carrier and listen to you every day. It is hard to call in because I am out in the country where service is hit and miss. Keep up the great work.

I just tuned-in to Stephanie for the first time today. I really enjoyed her interview with the Laasers. You’re doing a great job, Stephanie. And thanks to KTIS for continuing excellent mid-day programming…along the way!

I tuned in recently on the advice of a friend who’s very acquainted with Along the Way. I’m now hooked. Not only do I find Stephanie’s demeanor to be relaxed but she approaches her questions much the same as I believe most of us would.
I find myself just on the verge of a comment and Stephanie articulates it as if she knows what I’m thinking. That’s cool and her realism is authentic and appreciated. Keep up the good work Stephanie. You’re speaking to and for all of us.

Thursday you took calls regarding testimonies on forgiveness. I was one of your Callers! I just wanted to share with you and your callers that you only have to forgive once, God,yourself, and the offenders. The part I learned after several years of studying and trying other principles, like Blessings, giving, even taking all the blame for their actions. I found out that by just asking God to come into the area of my pain caused from the offense and to heal that area. When my Father committed suicide I was angry at Him and then blamed my self. Believing a Lie that I was the problem I needed to repent, and replace that lie with the Truth of Gods word. I asked God to Come in to the area of my heart where I felt the pain, which caused rejection, fear, guilt and any other feelings that I was tormented with. We make things so complex, but this is very simple. He healeth the broken in hearted and binds up all their wounds. There are so many scriptures on the Heart, once you start to study, this principle, it is very easy.
Now, the big challenge is when it keeps happening, over and over again. You have to cry out for God’s Grace daily, so that He will give you The Power and strength not to fall into anger and unforgiveness, complaining…. This is so exciting because you know that this is the Lord doing the work and not yourself. I was sexually abused by my stepfather, and my mother who I loved dearly. She was an alcoholic and a drug user. Any memories that are or were dreadfully painful to me I asked God to go into those areas of pain, rejection, shame, guilt,Fear, abandonment, loneliness, low-self worth, and many other things that I struggled with. God is know respector of person. This has been a ministry for years that God has used me in, praying with people and leading them to Christ to heal the terrible pain caused from such dreadful experiences.

This is hard to explain in an email, so if you have any question for me, I could try to help in any area.
